Required Abre Permissions
To add a user to People, you must have one of the following permission enabled: "People Administrator", "People Profile Administrator" or "System Admin Privileges"
In People, staff members are typically migrated into Abre from your SIS. However, you can manually create user accounts.
How to Add Staff Members to People
- Navigate to People
- Select the Staff tab and then select the "+" in the bottom right hand corner of the screen
- In the modal, enter in the staff member's first name, last name, and email address.
- Select Save
Once done, you will land on the "Administration" tab within the user's profile. In this window, you will be able to add other information related to the newly added staff member. This includes:
- Personal Information
- Profile Information
- Contact Information
- Employment Information
- Dates of Hire and other important dates
- Licensure Information
- File Uploads
- Building Permissions (adding a staff member outside of the SIS)
- Abre Permissions
Please note: Staff/Users must have a domain that matches your district staff domain in order to log in to Abre.
