Each school district (or Abre instance) has the ability to set up service categories and goals. Service categories and goals are bits of metadata that get attached to every partner program. Schools can use the metadata to understand how their partners are servicing the community. Additionally, schools can use service categories and goals to align with their strategic plan.
Required Abre Permission
To add service categories and goals you must be a district staff member with Partner Administrator Permissions.
What type of services will partners provide? Categorize accordingly. Common examples we see:
- Apprenticeships and Internships
- Mental Health
- Community Service
- Academic Tutoring
- Behavior and Prevention
- Sports Teams
To add a service category:
- In the Partners App, click "Settings"
- Click "new service"
- Add the name, the description, and the color
Goals are objectives a partner program works towards. For example, a school might have the goal of improving English Language Learning Academics, or improving family/school relationships, or reducing stress and anxiety among staff members.
To add a goal
- In the Partners App, click on settings.
- Toggle to Goals
